It creates little pinpricks of light which are left floating in the air as the target object moves. The effect is mostly just annoying, though it can be used for tracking purposes since the effect lasts for over an hour before dissipating. Sparklies are most often encountered laced into other spells as "tracers" or to provide an extra touch of extremely cheesy style. Little girls in shojo anime LOVE this spell. * Find Alignment targets objects, not people; it returns a sort of "spectral analysis" of the colors of magic present in an object. Most wood objects, for example, have a large green component; anything flammable has a red signature, and anything created to kill people will probably have a black component. Objects with intrinsic magic have much stronger and sharper signatures than nonmagical objects. Red ---- Fire Bolt 2-dice attack 5 Fire Blast 3-dice attack 10 Eldritch Weapon wpn is magic, +1/+0 10/use, cannot precast Thrindle's Combustion see below 10/use, range:touch * Thrindle's Combustion is a relic from an earlier age of WSOGMM manipulation, when wizards named spells after themselves. It is one of remarkably few spells which have been adapted to the New Ways, partly because it had an extremely simple design, for an Old School spell, and partly because it's so darn useful. Thrindle's Combustion can set almost anything on fire, with a magical flame that's difficult or impossible to extinguish. It's a bit too slow-acting to be effective in most combat situations, but it's great in siege situations: setting, for example, a stone castle on fire is well within its power.
