Getting Ready To Collect Data

• Download 16299-26-2.zip and unzip it.
• Move the contents (Arduino progams) to wherever your Arduino programs are stored. On my Linux box that is ~/Arduino. The new Arduino programs are calibrate_encoders, sinusoids, steps, and steps-random. There is a directory putty-stuff which has programs to receive data from your Arduino, which is explained later. There is also a directory lab1 which I will also explain later.
• Put your robot upside down on your desk.
  
  
• Make sure your battery is fully charged.
• Connect the USB cable between the Arduino and your computer.
• You are now ready to go to the next step.
