Who am I?

I am Jean-Pierre Calvez, subcontractor software engineer at the IFREMER in Brest. I'm currently working about the definition of the computer systems for the new oceanographical vessel "LA THALASSA". I am also involved in the maintenance of the data archieving softwares onboard "L'ATALANTE" and the "JEAN CHARCOT".

Current occupations:

the specifications of the network,
the specifications of the computer (hardware),
the specifications of the scientific acquisition and logging system (CASCOAR),
the specifications of the scientific data visualisation system (VIDOP).
