Benoît Hudson is a Research Assistant Professor at the Toyota Technological Institute. He recently finished his Ph.D. working with Gary Miller at CMU in the Computer Science Department. His main research focus is on practical mesh refinement algorithms with good theoretical guarantees; these algorithms have application particularly in scientific computing and in graphics. He has also worked on auction theory, on planning and scheduling software for spacecraft (currently in orbit on EO-1), and on the hcc language for modeling hybrid systems.
