The Lord Of The Rings, everyone knows about this now.
A timeless story that talks about the adventures of one Frodo Baggins, a Hobbit who lives in a peaceful part of Earth but who undertakes a journey to wipe out the evil Sauron.

The book is equally good. Awesome storyline, superb characters, very nicely thought out.

The imagination of the author just leaves you breathless and the details, which are so well carved, are so very fantastic that you just can't imagine it is a made-up world in itself. The book instantly transports you to a different world and time. The book is huge because of the length of the saga and so it will keep you occupied for a long time.

The only negative point I found was the unnecessary part in the Book One where the author talks about Tom Bombadilo.

The book is a classic and should be read simply because of its tremendous reputation, which it truly deserves.
