Overview

Systems that utilize controllable lighting systems with light sensing devices facilitate a wide range of applications. Examples include 3D scanning, flexible display walls, novel display interaction, reflectance field capture, optical communication, and artistic creations. While the term "projector-camera system" is used, such systems encompass any approach that employs a controllable light-source, ranging from LEDs to an array of light projectors, with any light sensing device, ranging from a simple photo-sensor to an array of high-resolution wide-field-of-view cameras.

The PROCAMS workshop series serves as an annual gathering place for researchers and practitioners who design, build and use projector-camera systems for a wide variety of applications and purposes. The workshop solicits papers and demo submissions on all topics relating to projector-camera systems.

PROCAMS 2010 would be the seventh such workshop (http://www.procams.org/). PROCAMS 2008 was co-located with SIGGRAPH '08 in Los Angeles. PROCAMS 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2009 were held with CVPR 05, '06, '07 an '09 in San Diego, New York, Minneapolis and Miami, respectively. PROCAMS 2003 was co-located with ICCV in Nice.

Instructions for Oral and Poster Presenters

Oral presentations will be 20 mins long plus 3 mins for questions. Authors should bring their own laptops for the presentations (no PC will be available from CVPR). Posters presenters should email one PPT slide (powerpoint 2003) to srinivas@cs.cmu.edu for the fast forward before Wednesday June 9 2010. Each presenter will have one minute to advertize their poster. The maximum size of the poster is 8 ft wide x 4 ft tall (exactly like the CVPR poster).
