1. If you find a lost item, please take it to Gates&Hillman 6203
or the closest business office in SCS:
- Computer Science Department (Gates/Hillman Centers)
- Human-Computer Interaction Institute (3rd floor Newell-Simon)
- Institute for Software Research (5th floor Wean Hall)
- Language Technologies Institute (5th floor Hillman Center)
- Machine Learning Department (8th floor Gates Center)
- Ray & Stephanie Lane Center for Computational Biology (7th floor Hillman Center)
- Robotics Institute (4th floor Newell-Simon)
2. Send mail to lostfound@cs.cmu.edu and the object will be recorded on the website.
Information we will need:
- exact location where found (including room numbers when possible)
- type of objec and brief description
- date and approx. time the lost item was found
3. The item will be posted on the website: www.cs.cmu.edu/~lostfound as soon as possible.
4. To retrieve an object, go to the location listed by the object. You will be required to identify any/all
lost possessions. All items must be picked up in person.
