Register / Contact

There is a small $25 registration fee for this workshop which includes the Friday night dinner and all workshop material. Participants are responsible for travel and other meal expenses. If your school district is paying, you must add in an appropriate per-diem to cover meals. (We will provide dinner on Friday evening and snacks during the workshop breaks.) Please plan on arriving Friday so you can participate in the opening dinner/social to get to meet the other participants.

Lodging will be provided on campus for no charge for the entire three nights for each participant who wishes to use it. The campus housing is air-conditioned with independent heating and cooling systems in each room. It hosts a fully equipped kitchen, recreation room with pool and ping-pong tables, a dining room, reading room, lounge with big screen TV, first floor laundry and exercise room. It is also fully handicapped-accessible and has an elevator. There are tub rooms on every floor for people who prefer to take baths.

Parking on campus is free after 5PM on Friday and all day Saturday and Sunday. During the workshop on Monday, visitor parking is available in the East Campus Garage for a daily rate. For more information about visiting CMU, see Carnegie Mellons's Visitor Page.
