This summer, Correlation One & Citadel/ Citadel Securities are partnering to bring you virtual Summer Invitational competitions. Apply to both or either of  their summer competitions to showcase your data analysis/ coding skills, get a chance to compete for $25k in cash prizes, and be eligible for exclusive recruitment opportunities at Citadel and Citadel Securities.

  • 2-9 August 2021 ⇒ Terminal Summer Competition   →   APPLY
    • Terminal Live is an online game where software engineers and computer scientists (or anyone else interested in coding!) build an algorithm to play a tower defense game in a team-based setting.  Teams will be able to work remotely on their submissions for a week on their own schedule. Top performing students will have opportunities to win prestige and cash prizes.

    • Datathons are data science competitions that challenge students from the world's best universities to tackle real-world social challenges in topics such as urban traffic, renewable energy, and education.
    • Datathons are the world's #1 data science competitions that bring together students from the top US, Canada, & European schools. We provide a problem statement, and students have a week to work on their analysis reports in a team of 4 people.

  • 26 July 2021Ph.D. Datathon

           → If you are currently enrolled in a Ph.D. program, please only apply for the Ph.D. Datathon.

  1. Undergraduate, graduate, Ph.D., and post-doc researchers are eligible.
  2. Register using your official school email address.
  3. Students need to complete an assessment form to be considered. It must be completed in one session without any outside help. Students who violate this rule will be disqualified.
  4. The participant list is announced 3 days before the day of the competition. Participants will receive a technical packet with further instructions.
