The Innovation Scholars program fosters innovation and entrepreneurship and seeks to increase the number of successful startup companies initiated by or involving Carnegie Mellon University’s undergraduate students.

$6,000 stipend to work on your own startup over the summer
$1,200 grant to explore startup companies during the “SV Trek” in January 2021\\
Individual mentoring • Special invitations to events
Current second year students in the second semester in ANY school or college at CMU
Two-year program commitment (Junior and Senior year)
Successful completion of one intro entrepreneurship course
Attend weekly Proseminar meetings
Commitment to be a mentor to future Innovation Scholar students
