Yet these programs are typically late, often do not meet stakeholder expectations, and tend to incur severe budget overruns. And yet, why are IT organizations reticent to use new methods and processes?
Eduardo Frias is an experienced technology leader with 25+ years of experience in Fortune 50 companies such as Johnson & Johnson and Dell, as well as in startups and high growth companies. Mr. Frias will discuss his experiences implementing software development philosophies such as Agile, methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban and modern practices such as lean product management, continuous integration/deployment and automated testing in real-life systems and programs.
Eduardo Frias is a highly experienced technology executive with a very successful track record in several blue-chip, global leading companies as well as in high-growth and startup environments. Eduardo is leader with relentless focus on the impact of technology decisions on long-term cost, benefits and risks. Having held leadership positions with companies such as Johnson & Johnson, Dell, and Accenture, Eduardo has managed the successful implementation of major initiatives throughout the US, Europe and Asia, leveraging software engineering and project management best practices. Originally from Argentina, Eduardo makes now San Francisco, CA his home. He has earned a BA in system analysis from University of Buenos Aires and an MS in Software Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
