Carnegie Mellon's Alumni Web Yearbook is now available online 24 hours a day through the Libraries homepage at http://www.library.cmu.edu/ or directly at http://www.library.cmu.edu/cgi-bin/Yearbook . (Eventually it will have link off the Homecoming/Alumni website). Alumni are encouraged to log on and create a yearbook page of their own with the easy to use online form. All forms submitted are reviewed weekly, and confirmed alumni pages added to the web yearbook.

Alumni can choose to have their Thistle yearbook photo attached to their page and request information on submitting a more "recent" photo. Alumni also have the option of having a link to their own homepage or favorite web site.

Homecoming
Pre-registered Alumni attending Homecoming 1998 will have their Thistle Yearbook photo scanned into the web alumni yearbook (if the university has one for you).

During Homecoming 1998, Alumni can fill out an online form at the University Center during registration (9:00 to 11:00 am, Friday ONLY) and at all three University Libraries locations (Hunt, E&SL, MI) during the library Open House(s) on Friday, 4:00-8:00 pm. On Saturday, Hunt Library will again be staffed for web yearbook opportunities. Library staff and volunteers will be on hand at all these times to assist alumni and to take on-the-spot photos with a digital camera. (Alumni can also use any cluster or computer on campus to fill out an online form, but the digital photography service will only be available during Homecoming at the locations listed above.) To view an example of a complete web yearbook page, select Find A Classmate on the Web Yearbook page and submit a search with the name Duffy. If you have any questions the yearbook, contact Bella K. Gerlich at 412.268.7263 or email her at bg2r@andrew.cmu.edu.
