The Department of Computer Science, Oregon State University, anticipates
one or possibly more openings for tenure-track assistant professors, to
start in September 1997.  Specialization in software engineering,
networking, computer graphics, distributed computing, or multimedia is
desirable, but all qualified applicants will be considered.

Applicants should have completed or expect to complete all requirements for
the Ph.D. in computer science or a closely related field and should have
demonstrated research and teaching potential.
