Robot system

The robot system receives the control signals produced by the task translator and executes the task.

The robot system that we use as part of the testbed for test our programming approach comprises a PUMA 560 and a Utah/MIT hand (shown above). Both the arm and dextrous hand are controlled using Chimera, which is a real-time operating system developed at CMU.
