The Arc of the Dream A. A. Attanasio

Review by Bill Johnston

The Arc of the Dream has little to do with In Other Worlds, but not as little as they both have to do with Radix. In this book an alien similar to the one in the last book, but from a completely different place, comes to Earth. His link to his homeworld is inadvertently moved, and in order for him to survive, it must be returned to the same place within three days. To realize this, he gives mental powers to four people. It gets worse from there. We find that gangsters, the FBI, the child welfare agency, and even the alien's dark side are out to get them on the way. If you didn't like Attanasio's physics from the last book, you'll see more of it here.
