hfcliflr.mpg copyright 1994 by tony audas this file must accompany hfcliflr.mpg in all distributions. i found dave farmer's hfcliffs pov files and right away i saw a good subject for a 3d stereopair animation. here it is. hfcliffs.pl is a perl script that runs povray for each frame. we make 99 frames (slight problem - the last few frames are inside the mountain, so lose those). first the left frame, then use the clock argument to run the right frame, then use mkstereo to make the composite frame. for a 200x200 frame i have found that a 160 pixel separation is easy for most people to freeview. then use pingpong.pl to create the reverse sequence. i used mpeg_encode to create the animation and mpeg_vga to play it. all under linux. uploaded to ftp.povray.org 11/1994 taudas@nthstone.mi.org
