\noindent BSD Socket operations as implemented by the Mach3 Unix Single-Server.

\noindent Sockets are an application interface to UDP and TCP networking
services.

Sockets are in the anchor protocol realm.  This version is specific
to the Mach3 platform.

Sockets use IP addresses.  The addresses are passed in messages generated
by MiG stubs.
