Brian Wachowicz : Greek Paddle

In many college fraternities and sororities, "big brothers" are presented with a (these days, purely ceremonial) paddle from their little. Paddle's typically have both member's names on them, including some personal touches, and the name or insignia of the greek organization. The paddle created during this project is a mix of acrylic and wood, and was entirely made by hand in SolidWorks. This includes the Alpha Epsilon Pi insignia, which was traced by hand in SolidWorks from a JPEG. Notice that the insignia isn't engraved, rather, it was cut into the wood at a low power setting. Also, the names are cut all the way through the wood so that the colored acrylic can show (blue and yellow are the Alpha Epsilon Pi colors).
