Amazon reviews for a traditional mousetrap show a large flaw in the original design: for a humane, live capture mousetrap, there was a lack of ventilation, and the mouse could suffocate.
In order to fix this problem, this project ensures there is plenty of air flowwithout making it possible for the mouse to escape. The design is completely laser cut out of acrylic, and involves no glue, tape, metal, etc. This makes it easy to make, and easy to replace if it is broken. It's even easy to take it apart and wash the inside, once it starts to smell.
