I don't think HSI = HSV

One is a "perceptual color space".

The other one isn't.

Perceived intensity (perceived brightness goes
up linearly as the values go up) vs. Absolute intensity
(perceived brightness goes up non-linearly as the
value goes up).

The human eye responds differently to fixed value
changes at different point in the range.
