I am a contributor to the FAQ Adrian Ford is maintaining. I am also one of
the experts who spent some months in contact with David last year, trying
to expunge some of the more major errors in David's FAQ. Television
colorimetry is my profession.

I don't like all this acrimony and would like to see the matter settled
quietly. David is wholly wrong in claiming that there are major errors in
Charles' FAQ, the odd slip certainly, but nothing major.

I have not looked at David's more recent output to check it. I spent 4
months of last year doing that and became extremely annoyed and bored
with David's continued reluctance to accept that he could be wrong. I
don't want to start all that again, so I endorse your idea of voting on
it.
