NIH is the National Institutes of Health, a federal biomedical research
center with an intrmural campus in Bethesda MD, and a large extramural
grant program.

NIH Image is a public domain image processing program for the macintosh
and is used widely. It is available for ftp from zippy.nimh.nih.gov in the
/pub/nih-image directory
