I am currently writing some software for the macintosh
which builds an isometric view of a _surface_ from a
series of 2D images. At the moment it is a fairly
straightforward program (it gives fairly nice results
tho!), but I want to add some advanced features for
finding where the surface is.

What I am after is several sets of data to experiment
with my program on. I would be happy (obviously) to
give you the results of the program from your data, and
also a copy of the program when it is finished.

Images produced from confocal microscopy are ideal.

Please note that I am after data from _surfaces_ (i.e.
something which is described by a function z = f(x,y) ),
although I intend to add some other features, so I would
appreciate getting some non-surface (e.g. biological) data
to experiment on later.

Please reply via email and I will find an ftp site where you
can dump the images, or you can uuencode them.

thanks very much in advance,

Iain Huxley
