             VISITING LECTURER POST IN COMPUTER VISION

             AI DIVISION - SCHOOL OF COMPUTER SCIENCE
		  The University of Westminster

The AI Division is seeking for a visiting (part time) lecturer to
assist with the teaching of modules in Computer Vision/Image Processing.

The  division currently supports, a B.Sc. in AI, a B.Sc. in 
Cognitive Science, an M.Sc. in Cognitive  Science,  and  
an M.Sc. in Knowledge Engineering. The division also includes a 
very active AI Research Group.


The visiting lecturer will be expected to teach the following courses:

a) Visual Perception and Computer Vision (M.Sc. Cognitive Science)

   An introductory module in computer vision (2h lecture/1h tutorial pw)

b) Image Processing (2nd year B.Sc. in AI)

   (3h lecture/2h tutorial pw)

Applicants for this post must possess:

      1)  Postgraduate qualifications in a related area.

      2)  Teaching experience.

The post is  temporary  for  one  semester  (part-time) starting from 
February 1995.
