Dear Joseph,

We have been using the ScreenMachine II from Fast GmbH for some time now. This
card will digitise practically any flavour of video, and can also correct for
non-standards offsetting etc.

Video is displayed in real-time in an MDI window within the Windows
environment. The software that is provide with the system also allows video
clips to be captured (but this consumes hard disks with a passion). The card
is actually aimed at the multimedia arena and so is quite reasonable priced at
around 750. We use this card because it is one of the tew that runs at
1024x768x256 colours resolution, and does not worry if there is more than 16MB
RAM fitted.

Hope this is of use - Alan
