I am currently working on a project on behalf of the UK Department of
Transport to find equipment suppliers capable of producing a low cost
device (about 1000UKP) to count the number of pedestrians waiting in a
detection zone 4.0M x 3.0M. The time scales for this project are quite
short with a prototype demonstration by June/July 1995 leading to full
roadside trials for equipment by Dec 1995. If you are interested in taking
part in this project, please telephone or e-mail me (rpc@wjctti.demon.co.uk)
preferably by the end of next week (by 25 Nov 1994). Because of the nature
of this project I will have difficulties dealing with companies from outside
the UK.

Thanks for your cooperation
