Hi !

I am doing a project about image-coding.
Dose anybody have a C-algorithm for a KLT to transform a
16x16 pixel matrix?
Actually, I am not quite sure if the KLT can be used in this case,
because I don't know if it is necessary/possible to calculate the eigenvector
in this case (if you have a 16x16 image to be transformed).
In Rao, "Discrete Cosine Transform" the eigenvalue is calculated,
using the eigenvector of the covariance matrix. But in my case I don't
have a stochastic description of my image to get the covariance matrix.

Thanks for any answer!

Bye
Mathias
