Associate Investigator for Applied Research & Engineering

vision, cognitive systems engineering, and virtual world technologies.

Two immediate openings for an Associate Investigator -- to grow into the role 
of Principal Investigator

Areas of interest should include:
  Image analysis, understanding, and processing
  Evolutionary computation
  Complex adaptive systems
  Autonomous agents
  Cognitive systems engineering
  Automatic object recognition
  Analysis and construction of virtual worlds

To succeed, you must be competent in:
  Identifying new research problems and finding solutions
  Expressing concepts (orally and in writing) both pedagogically and cogently
  Modeling phenomena and developing algorithms

Support skills should include:
  Strong math and/or physics abilities
  Competence in image analysis
  Proficiency in C (C++ preferred)
