What I need to know is : how do you perform your correlation ?
SSD (Sum of Squared Differences), or Convolution ?
Is it normalized ?

I have several algorithms to do that (at 1/96 pel accuracy). Tell me more about your problem.

"AI" in these topics generally refer to hyperplanes selection. Look for this in pattern recognition books.
