Several camera companies make cameras which can read out selected lines
only. Look into EG&G Reticon, Dalsa, and Loral/Fairchild. Another
camera company, Sierra Scientific, has an area camera that can operate as
a TDI (time domain integration) camera. This is a type of line-scan
camera with higher sensitivity. Contact these companies for more
information. (e-mail me if you need addresses/phone numbers.)
