Further to an earlier post, our group has more or less cut tme search
for a frame grabber down to two cards, I would be grateful for any
experience with either of these cards.

The first is the Computer Eyes 1024 which does full colour 1024 by 512
frame grabbing at 24 bits and 1/30th of a second. For the price this
card seems too good to be true, and I would be very interested to see if
anyone2knows how good it really is. The spec. sheet is very short on
technical details, like sample accuracy, jitter etc. and long on rather
vague adjectives.

The second choice board is the ImageNation CX100 which is monochrome 512
square for the same price as the board above. The spec. sheet for this
is much more helpful though, and actually gives some information. I am
a lot more confident that this board would work, but if the other one
does work it would be a lot better.

So please, anyone with experience of these boards, or other boards made
by the same companies, I would dearly like to hear. Also if anyone
knows of other, comparable boards that grab 512 x 512 frames in 1/30th
of a second I'd be interested. * bit monochrome is good enough, colour
would be nice, and the ability to do real time video in a window would
be fantastic. So far all the video in a window boards I have found have
been limited to lower SAMPLE resolutions than we are looking for.
