The color spaces FAQ, posted weekly by David Bourgin, contains
some errors and misleading information.

It is not possible to ammend the FAQ as the author is
unavailable on national service (France).

For this reason we suggest the use of the following documents,

coloureq.txt from westminster.ac.uk in /pub/itrg

for generall colour space transform equations in television,
computer graphics and the real world.
This is in ascii format.

ColorFAQ.pdf from elaine.crcg.edu in /pub/doc/color

for a more detailed description of the porblems encountered
with colour and digital apps. In adobe acrobat format

GammaFAQ.pdf from elaine.crcg.edu in /pub/doc/color

for a description of the term gamma and its use in computer
graphics. Again in adobe acrobat format.

A free PDF viewer is available from ftp.adobe.com

We welcome any feedback, comments and suggestions.

Regards, Adrian.
