They are having a 20%-off sale right now, and with the discount our five windows (36x28 or so) were $700. Expensive, but good professional work. The windows look good, let in a lot of light, and would seem to be completely burglar proof (no easier to chop through than the surrounding cement blocks). We're not sure yet if they are good insulation, but they do qualify for the 15% tax credit for energy-saving improvements. The two guys who did the installation are subcontractors for Pittsburgh Galss Block. They said that if we had called them directly, they could have given us a slightly better price. I imagine they provide the same good quality of work whether working for themselves or for PGB. They are Larry O'Toole and Eugene B. Hart 734-2198. They also hack heating and air conditioning.
