When I bought my house the survey cost $ 75 but that was only for a surveyor to look up the information and supply it. The information is summerized on the deed to the land. If you want a new survey there are a lot of variables that would effect the cost because of the different types of information that can be supplied. For example a survey for a new developement project would include: the slope information the location of all trees and structures utilities that cross the site This kind of survey would cost about $10000 per acre. If you want more information I can give you the name of a surveyor that you could call that does moon light work. His phone number is x2952 Sriram ----------------------- Date: 7 Mar 83 22:21:32 EST From: Scott E. Fahlman To: Sandy Esch@CMU-CS-A Subject: Land Surveyors When we bought our house, the survey was done by a fellow named Zarko Pavlovich, 5304 Beeler St., Pittsburgh. I imagine he's in the phone book. There was a problem with an earlier survey and with some fences in the wrong place relative to the property lines. Not only did he catch this, but he did a very through job of goingthrough the old records and resolving the situation. He charged $120 for this -- I think it is usually somewhat less, but he had to do extra work because of all the problems. -- Scott ----------------------- Date: 8 Mar 1983 09:16:26-EST From: Greg.Glass@CMU-CS-CAD To: Greg.Glass@CMU-CS-CAD, Sandy.Esch@CMU-CS-A Subject: Re: surveyors I talked to my friend and he would be unable to do the work but he recommended Steve Liadis at 341-6006. Tell him that Ed Moy sent you. Greg ps. your architect should take care of this for you.
