While the cars are a joy to drive, they are a drag to own. Throughout their history, Audi has tried toget the most out of every part of their cars, pushing each component to its design limit. This shows up in the way the car responds when a tune-up is indicated, they tend not to run! They are also not the most dependable cars during the winter, they need to be pampered! If I sound really down on the things, it is from my frustration in owning a car that I really loved, that friends loved to ride in but that drove me up the wall with bills and repairs. The problems have been reduced in the newer Audi 5000 and 4000 but they still are nowhere near the reliability of a Toyota. Barry Silverman
