Opening Documents

This section shows you how to open XML documents in CLTreeView.

Opening an XML document

In CLTreeView, you can open one XML document at a time. To open an XML document, follow these steps:

1. Select File>Open . If you already have a document open in CLTreeView, and you have made changes to it, you will be prompted to save it before CLTreeView opens the new document.
   

2. Highlight the XML file in the popup window.
   

3. Click OK. The XML file will appear as a folder in the Tree View window.
   

Reverting to the Opening State of the Document

If you would like to discard all of the changes you have made to a document since opening it, use the Revert function. Note that this procedure is global and therefore should be used with care. Also note that CLTreeView offers you an opportunity to save your changes before reverting to the opening state of the document. Here are the steps:

1. Select File>Revert. If you have made changes to the document, you will prompted to save it.
   

2. Click "Yes" or "No", depending on whether or not you want to save your changes. CLTreeView will reload the document, reverting to its original state.
