Repeat an adjective when it modifies two nouns.

When a single adjective modifies two nouns, the attachment of that adjective can be ambiguous. Clarify the attachment by repeating the adjective for each noun it modifies. The following sentence contains a single adjective modifying two nouns:

non-KCE: "The latest printer and scanner work together."
In the following example, the author has repeated the adjective in order to clarify attachment:

KCE: "The latest printer and the latest scanner work together."
