Should dialogs be saved for reuse, or simply closed and another item created?
More to the point, what level of dialog creation makes reuse worthwhile.
Somewhere between using a particular window time almost never and
using it all the time, must be a break even point where it becomes better
to reuse a window. This may, of course, depend on how short/long lived
the item is. I am mainly interested in short term items. Some of the
items are used 1-2 times during the course of the program, and some
are used 50-60 times. There will probably also be items in the 10-30
times usage range.

Bill

PS If anyone has been using QuickDraw 3D under MCL, I would appreciate
talking with you.
