Prep3 (due at various times, see below)

Note that Tue lecture and Wed recitation are both requird in midterm exam weeks. We will do more midterm prep in both sessions.
Here are the 3 required parts of prep3:

  1. Complete practice-midterm1 (due Mon)
    • You can find practice-midterm1 here.
    • You have 3 ways to do this (the first is preferred, but any of these are acceptable):
      1. Print it out and complete it as normal.
      2. Do not print it out and use blank paper to complete it.
      3. Complete it digitally by marking up the PDF (say, on an iPad).
    • Whichever way you choose, complete this under exam conditions, meaning 80 minutes, no notes, no computers, no AI, etc. Sole exception: just for this practice midterm, you can use a computer just to view the problems themselves if you chose not to print out the PDF.

  2. Submit your completed practice-midterm1 (due Tue at lecture)
    • You have 2 ways to do this (either is fine):
      1. Submit digitally here. If you hand-wrote it, you can scan it to digitally submit.
      2. Physically submit it when you attend lecture on Tuesday.
    • Either way you choose to submit, this is due at the start of lecture.

  3. practice-midterm1 solutions (due Wed)
    • You have 2 ways to do this (either is fine):
      1. Attend the practice-midterm1-solution-session (on Tue 9-Sep starting at 5:30pm in DH 2210).
      2. Watch the recorded video of it (carefully and completely, of course) (by Wed 10-Sep).
That's it! Enjoy, and good luck on the midterm!
