Oncogenes and tumor suppressors
We have looked at the curves recovered for some of the known
oncogenes and tumor suppressors. We used the OMIM
database to select genes that were both present on the arrays and displayed
a large enough change in order to pass filtering. Many of these displayed the expected expression patterns. For example, the expression
of TSC2, a tumor suppressor gene, decreased as the disease progressed. Below we provide figures for some of these genes. Note that
becuase we have used all 29 glioblastomas the recovered ordering is different from the order in the paper where we only used the 21
trianing datasets for Figure 4. For the order we present below the tepmoral progression (based on survival time) is from left to right.
