 ISS and Endeavour (STS-113)
ISS and Endeavour (STS-113)
2002/12/3 18:10 EST. I saw ISS as predicted at 18:10 flying from NW to N low in the sky. Unexpectedly, there is another dot about 15 degrees behind. They were moving along the same trajectory, and both entered earth shadow in north east. Since shuttle Endeavour has separated with ISS but not landed yet, I assume the second object to be the shuttle. It came as a surprise to me. In a great hurry, I grabbed my camera, pressed it on a car roof (as tripod), and took the photo just in time. Settings: Nikon coolpix 995 camera, 8 seconds, F2.6, ISO 800. From Morewood garden parking lot, CMU, Pittsburgh.
