Coma Berenices.

This is my very first piggyback astrophoto. The camera was mounted on a Questar 3.5" without a motor drive, so the tracking was all done manually. (bad for neck and arms :-) The outer region is darker than the center in the photo since I used f1.8. The outer stars show concentric trails, a sign of poor polar alignment. But the photo is still exciting to me.

Olympus OM-1, 50mm lens at f1.8. Kodak Max 400 film. 10 minutes piggyback exposure, manual tracking. 2000/4/30 0:22 EDT Greene County, Pittsburgh.
