Miscellaneous

As I don’t want my about page to be a direct result of boredom, I concluded that the best way I can think of to describe myself is to list all of the things that make me happy. So in no particular order, here it goes:

Literatures: I love the essays and the novels of Xiaobo Wang (王小波).

Traditional Chinese Paintings: I paint since I was 10 years old. I quite love this Chinese style arts, for this could express some special feelings in a metaphysical way.

Pop Music: For Chinese music, I love Te-Chien Hou (侯德健)'s songs, Ta-yu Lo (罗大佑)'s songs, Jonathan Lee (李宗盛)'s songs and Deserts Xuan (张悬)'s songs. I also love English folks, the Brothers Four's and Bob Dylan's. Here is a list of my favorate songs.

Movies: I love Ozu Yasujirō (小津安二郎)'s movies, especially "Tokyo Story (东京物语 とうきょうものがたり)". I also love "Zéro de conduite" and "Dead Poets Society" (The last one is more famous but the first one is actually the prototype).



Arts: In the college I took a course named "Japanese Arts and Culture." Since then I acquired a taste for many forms of Japanese arts like tea ceremony, garden, Kyogen, Ikebana and Kendo, which I practiced for one year. I think the "dry landscape" graden art is particularly fancy. Here I show some of them:



Sometimes I watch comics. My favorate comic is Hyōka(冰菓). In my opinion that's a story about how a man grow up and learn the meaning of responsibility, alghouth it is more like a casual mystery fiction seemingly.
