quick timeline of my life: I was born in Shanghai and moved to the US following 1st grade. After living in various cities and towns throughout Texas and Oklahoma, I was able to escape to California for college without picking up too much of a Southwestern accent. I majored in electrical and computer engineering at Caltech and am now a computer science graduate student at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA. Outside of pure geek work, I enjoy spreading propaganda which encourage female interest in computer science, improving graduate life on campus and increasing education quality for rural Chinese students. Recent personal interests include drawing, dancing, rollerblading, snowboarding, musicals/shows/plays and pretending to know how to cook!
