Tracking of Moving Objects Based on Motion Prediction and Distance in Feature Space

This paper presents an improvement of a video-based surveillance algorithm previously developed to optimise car flow control at pedestrian road crossings. The previous algorithm has been adapted to track both rigid and non-rigid dynamic objects of the test image sequence and also improved to face simple cases of occlusion.
