About Me

I am a second year Master's student in the Computer Science Department at Carnegie Mellon University. I am fortunate to be advised by Nina Balcan. My current research focuses on Distributed Machine Learning, both in theory and practice. Before joining CMU, I spent 4 wonderful years ('10-'14) as an undergrad at IIT Bombay. Outside of academics, I'm passionate about basketball and music.

[Jan 04 '16] I'm on a 6-month long internship at Rocket Fuel.

[Dec 16 '15] Arxiv version of our paper on Data Driven Resource Allocation for Machine Learning is out. Read it here.

[Dec 14 '15] I have successfully defended my Master's thesis!
The final document can be found here.

[Dec 01 '15] I will defend my Master's thesis on December 14, 2015 in GHC 7101 at 2pm. A draft can be found here.
