This is intended to introduce you to some of my friends, past and
present, and other people who have meant a lot to me.
Beth loves dogs! She also went to camp Interlochen at the same time as singer Jewel, since she plays the silver flute.
She will attend grad school at UT Austin in the fall of 1997 She is studying at the LBJ school of Public Policy or something.
Here is a picture of her in the evening, on the way back from Genève.
She lives in San Francisco with Meredith Seawell, where she was
awarded a Master of Nursing from UC
San Francisco in May 1997.
I don't yet have a digitized picture of Meredith.
He's the one who got me originally interested in EMS. He also loves
to bike ride, rollerblade, and climb mountains with me.
He likes playing golf and tennis, while she enjoys photography and
painting.
He is considered a member of my family, as evidenced by the picture at right -- this is my family's August 1995 reunion (kids' table, even though we're in college now), and at the end of the table on the right, there he is..
In our quest to conquer the world, Neeraj has established a strong
hold in India, Pittsburgh,
and California.
Jeremy is frequently found in the Cyert Cluster. If he's not there, he's probably playing his mouth harp and/or making strange noises, or on Fridays.. with Tim on Flagstaff.. cuz Friday is Shtogee day.
You may also hear Jeremy referred to in jazz circles as player of
trumpet and master of all noises strange.
Chris is hiking the Pacific Crest Trail during summer 1997, and then
he will settle down with a job. Maybe. Or whatever else sounds better.
Gautam is a connoisseur of guitar, flying and planes, relaxing, and other fine pursuits. Somehow I convinced him to stay another year and do the fifth-year Master's in ECE.
Here is a picture of Gautam gazing at the Taj Mahal, which I took
in December '95.
The Summer of '96 could be considered the time when John decided to chuck 'em and kick back. Encouraged by a group of hoodlum ganstas with whom he resided, John took over SGI, LA (although he tragically missed Singled Out), and The Net.
Here
is a picture of John &&; Neeraj during that summer.
Amoolya was a big part of my freshman and sophomore years -- she taught me to think, look at the world, dance, feel, cry, laugh, love, write, and listen in new and very different ways.
This is a picture of Amoolya in August 1993, when I first met her.
