The list of Pro/E config file options can be found under on-line help pages. Open up your browser to the Pro/E Help Home (usascii/domains/helphome.htm) and click on "online documentation" near the bottom. Then choose Pro/Engineer Online Books, and under Reference Information you'll see "Configuration File Options". It has the names and descriptions.
Multiple versions of files, trail files:
Remember to choose File/Delete/Old Version once in a while if you don't need previous versions of your designs.
Similarly, if you sure you won't need them, you can delete the trail.txt.* files in your hard disk.
(i) Login to hpmeX.me.cmu.edu machine [X=1,2,...] in MechE cluster (ii) Change your working directory (iii) Run ProE with '/data6/ProE17/bin/pro17'
(i) Define external host using 'xhost hostname'
(ii) Login to the same machine using your Andrew account
(iii) Set your display to the remote machine you are using with
'setenv DISPLAY remote_machine:0.0'
(iv) Run ProE using '/data6/ProE17/bin/pro17' or 'proe'
