Hi! My name is Tawanna Dillahunt and I am a Ph.D. student at the Human Computer Interaction Institute in the School of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA. My research interests lie in using technology to motivate and encourage positive behaviors. Currently, I am researching how to motivate environmentally sustainable behaviors via ubiquitous technologies and social computing. I am also exploring energy use in low-income communities. My advisor is Jennifer Mankoff.
I hold a M.S. in Computer Science from the Oregon Graduate Institute School of Science and Engineering at the Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, OR and a B.S. in Computer Engineering from North Carolina State University.
