RAPTOR: DOWNLOADING

In this class, we will be using a flowchart simulation tool named RAPTOR which was developed at the U.S. Air Force Academy. This software runs on Windows PCs only at this time. Raptor is available for your use in the PC lab in Wean 5202/5204 if you do not have a computer of your own or do not wish to install Raptor on your own computer. Please note that the PC lab does get quite busy at various times during the semester, especially near the end of the semester, so plan your time accordingly and don't wait until the last minute to start working on your assignments.

DOWNLOADING RAPTOR FOR USE ON YOUR OWN WINDOWS PC:

Raptor requires you to download and install .NET 2.0 Framework which is available HERE. (Look for ".NET Framework Version 2.0 Redistributable Package" and select the version for your PC, probably the x86 version.) YOU SHOULD INSTALL THIS FIRST BEFORE YOU INSTALL RAPTOR.

We will be using version 3.8 of Raptor. You can download a copy of this for your own PC by clicking HERE. This version is compatible with the one installed in the PC labs in Wean 5202/5204. Make sure you do not download a previous version of Raptor. Read the download and installation instructions carefully.

PLEASE NOTE: At this time, Raptor does not run on MacOS-only or Linux-only computers.
